A good cause
I saw that the wonderful http://ahellofawoman.blogspot.com/ wrote a truly heartwarming post last week dedicated to her sister. It has been part of http://kateonthinice.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/i-am-looking-for-90-bloggers-to-support-breakthrough-breast-cancer/Kate is looking for 90 bloggers to take part and write a short post consisting of 90 words, about a special woman in their life. This can be a Mum, friend, boss, sister simply any lady who means a lot to you.
So how could I not take part? Cue Nork and Nindy ( my own boobs aka The Twin Peaks That Speak ) who couldn't stop jiggling with enthusiasm and were just dying to write another post !
So as every good Mamma should, I let them have free reign ( they are 'free range' boobs after all ) and here is their contribution to this marvellous cause.
Bosom Buddies
As boobs we’re sassy and cheeky but all that aside we’re also deeply sensitive, caring and grateful to be healthy. We first met this pair of boobs 8yrs ago, Mamma PB is a Reflexologist and these boobies had come for treatment after suffering breast cancer. They were fighters! Pure and simple. Having been through a testing journey,but with their Mamma's positivity and strength they won! Unfairly years later they went through surgery again and re-consrtruction but were inspirational and emerged as glorious as before ! These are amazing ‘bangers’ and Nindy and I are honoured to call them our friends.
I am fortunate in the sense that no-one I know has been affected by Cancer and I can only hope it stays that way. But for those who have been affected, their strength of spirit is incredible and they are truly deserving of our support. Thanks for joining in xx
